SAAB Aerotech has used Adra Match for bank reconciliations for over five years
SAAB has operated with many banks and numerous accounts.
"With our high volume of transactions, accurately reconciled transactions are crucial and Adra Match Accounts has worked perfectly. " Says Stefan Lindqvist, who is responsible for the main ledger at SAAB Aerotech.
The business has around 1,900 employees and has a turnover of almost 3.3 billion SEK in the Swedish part of the company. Through the five years with Adra Match the need for support has been minimal. However, Lundquist still emphasised that help has been there when needed.
He remembers well the situation before SAAB Aerotech implemented Adra Match Accounts for the automation of their reconciliation processes. All account reconciliations were done manually with pen and paper, which was very time consuming and ineffective. With the implementation of Adra Match Accounts the process was much faster. Control was improved and the volume of mis-matches reduced significantly. Now the accounts are reconciled weekly and SAAB Aerotech is always up to date.
A while ago the finance function was moved to another city and new personnel took over. The use of Adra Match Accounts was adopted easily by the new employees. The whole system is very easy to use and user friendly, so the transition was painless, says Lindqvist .
Based on the experience we have had with the systems from Adra Match we are now considering using Adra Match Receivables in order to update all incoming payments automatically.
